It’s been a while. Those long hours of redrawing Chapter 01 are finally ended. I’m excited to upload the newly redrawed chapter 01! I hope everyone loves it. Not all the pages are redrawed though, there are few ones that I didn’t change simply because I quite like the original drawing. I want to say I’m very sorry for the long “hiatus”!
I have some real life problems and seriously need to deal with it.

To be honest in the past 3 months I’ve been living in other city to stay away from everything then came back home feeling a bit refreshed. All is well right now, and in the future I hope to have a happy and steady life.

Btw, I’ve made some changes of desafinado website a bit, and also a new header (yay!) but it’s in black and white due to the fact I don’t have the time to color the header (sob!)

Other updates:

- Decided to get rid of the donation button and support link since I rarely got any donation TAT believe me that I need every penny but I think I’ll think about a way to for you to donate, or maybe I wont put the button ever again (I dont know, and I’m still contemplating) lol.

- I feel bad not moving desafinado to the new domain that I’ve been purchased. The thing is I don’t have the time to draw and upload a new website altogether, I do have plans for desafinado but seriously I have other design project to catch up too.

- I haven’t start drawing chapter 5! OMG OMG OMG! TAT

Hi Everyone :D

Ok, so I’ve been MIA for a while due to the fact that I have a bunch of ongoing website projects that happened to come out of nowhere and keep flocking like mad.

It’s not an easy HTML 1,2,3 website and require wordpress themes and database work out, if you knew a thing or two about webdesign you’ll know what I mean.

I also can’t deny my growing interest in CSS3, jquery and other new nifty websites plugins and addons that I can’t stop reading webdesign blogs daily, it’s so much fun!

I wont be abandoning Desafinado, definetly not, so please follow my twitter or subscribe to my RSS in order to get the latest news and updates.

I forget haw HARD it is making action scene. Geh. The dynamic panels, intense speed lines, SFX lettering… Oh Dear.

I’ve changed the design a bit since the last page update, wanna do a complete redesign but I think I should focus on having regular page update instead ;)

If you found the layout has been changed a bit a few times lately, it’s because I’m trying to edit the old layout without changing it too much. I just want to adjust here and there so you wont be confused of the navigation and such. It’s on progress so be patient >_<;;

I’ve been trying to finish chapter 4 before updating the new pages, it takes some time and since I can’t draw fast enough I decided to maintain my drawing quality instead of rushing it~

Oh it’s THE New Year, Oh I cant wait for the niew Project Runway XD

Since Desafinado is growing and the storyline began to fall into place, I realize that I’m making a new different type of manga. It’s not pure shoujo or josei but somehow I manage to put fantasy and narrations that I believe strengthens the storyline and deepen the character nature. I do like to put a bit of a twist here and there so that you can enjoy every page and wonder what direction the story would go. If you get confused along the way, just enjoy the surprise and imagine Desafinado storyline in your own version.

I’ve been having a hard time finding a wonderful manga lately, I feel bored by the mainstream storyline and it makes me feel like reading manga isn’t worth it. It’s sad but true. But then I remember how I can write and draw anything in Desafinado, if I can’t find a manga worth to read, why dont I make one instead?.

I hope to continue updating Desafinado regularly and at the end to finish the story. I know I need to re-draw chapter one but right now I need to concentrate on the latest chapter, so please stay tuned and be patient ;)

This year will end soon and a new decade will arrive. I dont know what will happen next year but I believe that the harder I work the luckier I get. If I fail I’ll move on and try again and every time I try, I’ll push the envelope so maybe someday I’ll succeed.

On real life update: I’m officially a Gleek! lol. It’s a lovely series and even tough Finn is a bit bland like all the hottest guy in high school-teen-tv-series, Finn can sing! will this be the revival of Boybands? XD

The Girls are perfect for those satirical dramahH, RachelL are fiercely trashy, Quinn reminds me of ParisHilton since she usually sing in somewhat whispery high pitched voice. lol.  Sue is awesome! and Kurt, he makes me wanna cry when he sings Defying Gravity~

On a side note:  do you know that Archie (the wheelchair boy) used to be in a boyband? woah!

Btw, Happy Thanksgiving is you’re celebrating. Yeah well, back to drawing again~

I draw really slowwwww~ and as much as I want to finish my drawings ASAP, haste makes everything worse! uneven line, oogly proportion etc.
